Overview
This tank-type bioreactor is used to cultivate microorganisms under controlled conditions for fermentation and culture expansion. The vessel can be steam sterilised before inoculation; during the run, temperature is held by a water-cooled and steam-heated jacket while agitation and online monitoring keep conditions uniform, supporting seed culture and production fermentation of fungi, bacteria, actinomyces and algae.
Sizes range from 10 L to 200,000 L. The fermentor is built in AISI304/AISI316 stainless steel with automatic PLC control, motor, pump and pressure vessel. Power options of 5, 10 or 20 kW are listed, with voltage of 220 V, 380 V or 415 V. It is supplied with a one-year warranty.
