How tanks, silos & cip fit into your plant
Stainless tanks are the backbone of any liquid plant: farm and reception milk coolers, insulated outdoor silos, jacketed process tanks, yogurt fermentation and seed tanks, ice-cream aging tanks, beer tanks and bioreactors.
We also build automatic cleaning-in-place (CIP) stations with acid, alkali and hot-water tanks, so every tank and pipe in your plant can be cleaned and verified without dismantling.
Common questions
What temperature should a milk cooling tank hold?
Raw milk should be cooled to about 4 °C or below soon after milking and held cold until collection or processing.
What does a CIP cycle involve?
A typical CIP cycle is a pre-rinse with water, a hot alkaline (caustic) wash, an intermediate rinse, an acid wash to remove mineral deposits, and a final rinse, sometimes followed by sanitising.
