Evaporators
Falling-film, forced-circulation and vacuum evaporators for juice concentrate, milk and tomato paste.

4 evaporators

How evaporators fit into your plant
Evaporators remove water under vacuum so a product can be concentrated at lower temperatures. Falling-film evaporators give short residence times for heat-sensitive milk and juice; forced-circulation designs keep viscous products such as tomato paste moving fast enough to avoid fouling.
Multiple-effect configurations reuse vapour from one stage to heat the next, cutting steam consumption. We size each evaporator to your evaporation rate, target concentration and available utilities.
Common questions
Falling film or forced circulation?
Falling film suits low-to-medium viscosity, heat-sensitive liquids such as milk and clear juice. Forced circulation suits viscous or fouling products like tomato paste in the final concentration stage.
How does a multiple-effect evaporator save energy?
Vapour boiled off in one effect is used as the heating medium in the next effect, which runs at lower pressure. Each extra effect roughly divides steam consumption per kilogram of water evaporated.
